The Ministry of Housing, Planning and Urbanism recently offered, through the Tatweer platform, 7 investment opportunities for land to be used for agricultural projects (plants and animals) in Al Dhahirah Governorate, with a total area of 261.5 acres, and the opportunities were distributed in the three states of the governorate.
In the Wilayat of Yanqul, the platform presented an opportunity for a project to raise and multiply livestock, and cultivate and produce fodder, with an area of 6.5 acres in the Sufirat area.
In the state of Dhank, the platform presented 5 opportunities: two projects for cultivation and production of wheat with an area of 50 acres for each project in the Wadi Dhank region, a project for cultivation and production of wheat with an area of 40 acres in the Qarah Sattah region, and two projects for cultivation of palm trees for the production of dates with an area of 30 acres for each project in the Wadi Dhank region.
In the Wilayat of Ibri, the platform offered an opportunity for a palm cultivation project to produce dates on an area of 55 acres in the Kabara area in the Wilayat of Ibri.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources is developing plans for investment projects and allocating land for usufruct in integration with the Ministry of Housing, Planning and Urbanism and in coordination with the private sector with the aim of encouraging the establishment of food security projects.
